A very very long weekend....

It's not because french academic calendar is so generous that we had a very long weekend, as in from monday-sunday, it's because there was a student strike this week that we had no choice but cancel all the classes due to the gates, classroom doors were locked and blocked by tables and chairs. The reason why the had a strike....well, I dont feel like telling the whole story all over again maybe you can just google it or sumthg. I'm not a good blogger, eh?
So, what did I do to fill in my days....??? No class, lotsa projects, long list of to-do things.... should make an easy equation rite: lotsa time + lots to do = perfect!
But nooooo..... I am still procrastinating cuz this is wat Im good at! Im making the most of my off days lazing around...
I did some research for my training placement next year, I sent my CV thru Internet to some organizations, I hope one of them is a goal.
I did some reading here and there for my projects out of guilt!

Pierre-Louis also spent his time making Kueh Sus, or Choux in french for me!!!!! It was not bad at all or maybe it was just because I was really craving for it the whole week that I was getting annoying...

The Choux turned out delicious!

Last saturday, we were invited to a housewarming party in Mbak Ary and family's house who just moved in town from Germany. So this family is quite unique...in the sense of the father was born in Germany from Indo-German parents, the mother is pure Javanese, the children look like typical Indo children but they DONT speak Indo at all!! the children I mean... Ok, they have grown up in Germany, been going to German school and they have German nationality and all....but dont you think it's a bit sad that they only speak a little bit of Indo?

home made Bakso, enaaaak....

We stayed like this for like....10 minutes. Everybody wants to take a picture from their own camera. Men were the victims.

Anyway leave that to my personal opinio. The lunch was greaaaatt!!!!! food spread was more than enough, taste was delicious, companies were nothing but noisy bunch of Indo women (remind me of my Mum's gang in Kuching) cracking jokes all the time until my stomach ache due to laughing too much. And I ate too much too. But the dessert...nothing to shout out about except the poppy seed cake and the caramel pudding which reminded me of home.

Saturday evening after the lunch party, my friends and I decided to go to Capitole to see the events of Festa Tolosa which started out great with lotsa small bands playing spanish, african, hiphop music, but getting boring towards the middle. So we left the venue and headed home unsatisfied and could not be bother to stay until 10pm for the so-called Hiphop dance battle (blegh!) since Pierre-Louis' foot getting sore (he fell down during gym, did I mention it?).
